Known Station Problems;
15/05/2010: At approximately 08h00 SAST the station main console was reset to factory default. Thereafter, cumulative rain fall readings were zeroed and all relative barometric pressure readings were incorrect.
Initially the 'relative' baro readings would have been an estimated 30 hPa less than actual. An attempt to correct this resulted in a set of readings some 20 hPa over. By 17h00 SAST on the 16/08/2010 readings would have been corrected.
21/05/2010: At approximately 16h00 SAST the Anemometer was repositioned to a higher, more open position. Wind speed and direction are expected to be more consistent and accurate.
16/06/2010: It has been noted that the station loses outdoor temperature and wind data when the outdoor ambient temperature drops below approx 4.5 deg C and then will automatically recover once the ambient temperature has risen again. Problem is ongoing. Cause of the problem is not known.
22/08/2010: Prolonged mains power outage from 07h00 to 18h15 SAST. Server down, no updates to Internet for this period. Limited data retained in weather station console.
